Comic StripThe UNESCO Women in African History Series, and its corresponding website, aims to highlight a selection of key women gures in African history. This comic strip is part of a larger lesson plan on the warriors. Referred to as the Agojie, the women warriors are now being brought to the big screen September 16, 2022.

Video GameEmpire: Total War is a popular strategy and real-time tactics computer game developed by Creative Assembly and published by Sega. The fifth installment in the Total War series, the game was released in 2009. The female warriors of Dahomey are featured in this 2009 edition.

MoviesThe Black Panther movie, produced by Marvel Studios, partly takes place in the fictional African nation of Wakanda. It features the all female military unit, the Dora Mailaje, who closely resemble the female warriors of Dahomey.
